msl is a library complementing the IDEA libraries distributed by Siemens to facilitate development of MRI sequences.

msl provides

• a sequence graph, to simplify the nested loops and the actions performed at each loop iteration
• 3D gradient pulses and helpers to generate them (e.g. quickest, read-out, slice selection)
• high-level real time events (e.g. readout, including ADC, NCO and gradient)

msl requires a version of IDEA based on C++11: it has been tested on XA50, XA60, and XA61, and should work on XA30. VE and earlier versions are not compatible. Besides IDEA and the software packaged within, no extra dependency is required.
